The trouble with superheroes is that they usually start life as a graphic novel, so finding one that existed in the public domain only as a narrative felt like a gift. Although I often mentally visualise the things I read and hear, this is the first time I've been inspired to actually jot something down in years, so I owe thanks to the author Tom Reynolds for reawakening a dormant passion.
'Meta' is the story of a teenager who, with the help of mysterious technology of unknown origin, finds himself the most impressive new hero on the block. The story follows Connor Connelly, and his alter ego Omni, as he learns how to handle his powers; teleportation being tricky at first, this image 'Splash landing' is my interpretation of a steep learning curve.
I started with this image as I don't consider it to contain too many spoilers, I'm thinking about following it up with 'cornfield', 'rooftop', 'dockside' and 'showdown'. If you know what I'm referring to, you'll probably understand why I can see them so clearly!
